I don't have a problem with chicks BUT I usually have to talk for a sec. first, when my boys get points automatically just for being dark, trust me. How many red heads are in like GQ or something? None. If they sold more there would be, I know its true, I just don't get it.

Really, I don't know. I personally like guys who look different, I don't like the guys who are normal and I can see a million of on the street. I like tall and dark, but I also like tall and light. You know really its all down to who's got a cute face, nice personality, and is confident! Maybe you should step up your game, then the ladies will be like "Damn what was I missing out on? Redheads for life!". Lol.

well im not sure the kind of girls you are going after but if you a nice and funny guy and not to sound shallow but good looking(face and body wise) then you shouldt have a problem. i have never heard a girl say omg he has red hair so gross...lol sorry maybe you should try to be more confident if that dosnt help then dye it blonde!!becasue blondes really so have more fun!!!

Not sure how to answer this question, as I am most definitely a chick and am one that prefers redheads.

My advice is just not to sweat it too much - if you have a bad attitude to start about being compared to your friends, girls are going to pick up on that and may judge you on your attitude before your hair color.... or anything else.

Seriously, own your awesomeness. Red hair is rad and unique, and I'm sure you'll be lucky enough to find a great girl who will appreciate that. You're too good for the ones you don't.

You know, just cuz LESS girls like guys with red hair, doesn't mean the ones that do like redheads aren't way cooler on average. Pump yourself up, yo, 9 times out of 10, girls like confidence more than anything. If you think red hair is rad, then it damnwell is.

Now, now-- settle down. I happen to LOVE red hair. LOVE it. I just had dinner with the most amazing, smart, funny guy-- and he has red hair. Such a good looking guy too! Don't assume all girls want someone dark skinned and dark haired-- it's just not true : )

Okay...here is a more serious answer...

I have a red headed 14 year old son who has been teased his entire life. He's adorable and smart but most kids can't see past the red hair and freckles and he was pegged from an early age. Red heads aren't necessarily considered attractive because they are "different." There is like 1 red head for every 150 blonde's or brunettes. Not actual stats obviously. Just a guesstimate. My mom was a red head also and was considered beautiful as an adult...but was teased as a child. My male cousin is a red head...he is very handsome, has a great career and is SO funny but is 39 and unmarried and has had very little luck with women. If we had just ONE male movie star with red hair who was considered a "sex symbol" it is my guess that the present day view of red heads would change...but no such luck so far.

Goes back to even my nan's schooldays when the "redhead" got teased. Even the girls! As we grow into adults that stays with us. Males and females when seeking partners also seek peer approval - "look what I've got on my arm" sorta thing. Very superficial people!

I'll bet that redheads have longer relationships as the people who choose to be with them aren't superficial.

My 10 yo nephew has red hair and his mum dyes it and gets streaks put in it (blonde and / or brown) - I think it's pathetic.

If you're concerned about getting a girlfriend, you could try dying your hair, but believe me, one day a girl will come along and love you for you, not your hair, and you will have a more deep and meaningful relationship than most your dark boys will have.

i think guys with red hair can be just as cute. but i know what you mean. there really arent many red headed guys out there though. i dont mind guys with red hair, but i usually like guys with darker hair. you're right. most people go for the blondes or brunettes. but, i dont think it means red headed guys cant be cute. i mean, to me, cute is cute, red hair or not. so, hope youre not worrying.

idk.. my brother's a red head and he has absolutely no problem getting any girl. it could be the way you act or dress or something. i mean, he wears the t-shirts with stuff like free breathalizer test blow below. i still don't see why he really gets the girls. well, actually i do. he has a really good personality. it could be the vibe you put off to girls. i can't tell you how to change that though.

Like Just Me said, if there were more redheads in the film, modeling, or music industry then redheads would get more recognition. I personally love guys with any hair color. I'm even thinking of dying my own hair red because I love the color. Redheads should look up to Harry Potter because all the Weasley's are redhead putting like 8 (6 male) redheads on the big screen. I don't know why people don't like redheads. It's different than what most people have which makes me like it even more. (I'm kinda known for not going for what everyone else is going for) Redheads are really cool though.(my aunt and brother are redhead and they are really cool and nice and have good personalities)
