If i put hair bleach on light brownish red hair will it turn blonde?

i am gonna dye my black hair to put blondes chunks all over. i did the ones already in it but it was hard to do. would it be easier to bleach it out then dye it light blonde or how should i go about this to achieve the lightest blond streaks?oh, yeah, it turns light brownish redish color the first ime i dye it then i dye over that.

I recommend thta you go to a hair dresser immediately. bleaching ur hair yourself is never a good idea. they can tell u everything you need to know, and they have color charts that can tell u EXACTLY what color it will turn. you should let them do it. I think thats your best bet.

Before you do anything...i suggest you go to a local salon and ask them this exact question. You dont have to get your hair died there, but talk to them about what you want and how you want it to turn out. It is my experience that dying black hair blonde with make it turn out orange, and i mean orange. It also depends on what type of blonde you are going for. If you want a darker blonde, then go ahead and try it yourself, i cant garentee it will work. If you are going for a lighter or a platinum blonde, i suggest going to the salon. Either way you should go to a salon and talk to the pro's about it.

oki think that u should not use bleach!! that is so ick!!---i am so against bleaching sumtimes...but yeah i do like ur idea. black hair looks relly nice with blonde sumtimes. i really liked the blonde streaks idea!! i think u should go wit that. or u could have black hair an then in the back u should have a layer of black hair an then under that blonde hair....i saw it once an it looked really cool!!

You never know what color you'll get when you bleach your hair, it's just used to lighten hair, so that you can make it blonde, or some other light shade, you almost alway have to use a toner or color after, thats why if you just bleach, your hair dryes out.
