I want it bleach blonde. I have had other ginger friends bleach their hair, and it looked really good.

All you have to do is go to the salon and ask them to bleach your hair blonde. Or you could buy one of those kits at the store that you bleach your own hair but I wouldn't recomend it!! I hate those do it yourself kits.

So yeah I would suggest going to the salon and tell them to bleach your hair, and make sure you tell them what color blonde-platinum,dirty blonde, yellow blonde.

Oh ya and you could also find out how your friends did it, if you like the way their hair is ask them and then maybe they could help you choose how you do it!=]

You should have it professionally done. Unless you're already a shade of blonde, it's one of the hardest colors to get right when you use a box color at home. You may have to have it done twice 6 weeks apart depending on how well your hair takes the color. Reds often turn an unfavorable color of orange before they turn blonde.

You'll have to get your roots touched up every 6-8 weeks too. You can ask your stylist to do highlights AND lowlights which will give your hair dimension and when it starts to grow out won't look as noticeable as if they do just one color; then you won't have to get touch ups as often.

You could always try the home box kits or ask your friends what they did and try that first. Just have a backup salon in mind if it doesn't look good.

be carefull, you have red hair it could come out orange, if you do it yourself make sure you also use a supplimental product called "redout" theres probably a lot of different names for this product by now. A full head bleach is a salon job. Just remember about the maintenance- too much root looks bad. Maybe a better option is heavy highlighting- the regrowth is not as bad. The further you go away from your natural the more you need to maintain. You can always model for salon to help defray the salon cost. Many people are not afraid to try to home bleach- they are usually sorry they did it. The hair is not the right color blond, not even and very damaged.
