well i too have natural dark brown hair and color my hair red...since your hair is orange i can tell you have let if fade as it does so fast..i let mine fade and then colored brown...i had to color it a few times to get the red tint out but after about 3 times it worked..but i missed my red so im red again..lol..good luck

go to sallys beauty supply store and buy a filler and leave it on for at least 20 minutes and then apply the brown color /vol......have the manager at sallys help you ..most have a cosmetology license
