The only way to get red out is to go to a salon.Hairstylists say it is the hardest color to get out.They first have to strip all the color out of your hair it takes about 3 hours.It will then be very light yellow depending on how dark you dyed it.The hair stylist will then chose a color closet to what it has turned and looks closest to natural.If they make it to dark you will get a green or gray cast to your hair not very natural.

My girlfriend says you could try dying it over with brown, but speaking from experience, red is hard to get out or cover up.
