I have died my hair 2 times trying to get it red but it doesnt come out the color i want i want red like cherry red but it wont come out i was thinking about doing the non-permenant one but i not sure if it works

It is very hard to get a "true red" on many people. I would suggest looking at Hot Topic for their red and following the directions. It really depemds on the color of your hair now, the shampoo you use, and how fine your hair is.

depends how bright you want it really and how dark your hair is now.. the only way to get really bright cherry red hair that last is to bleach first hand

Coloring your hair red is the hardest thing to do...If you want it to look good, you're probably going to have to go to a professional and let them bleach your hair and then add the red color and watch it turn the shade you want it...otherwise you're gonna be wasting your money buying a kit from the store and doing it yourself.
