Dying ginger hair red without it fading?

I have naturally gingery brown hair which I do like but I would prefer it to be more red rather than orange and I would like it a bit darker.

I have tried a few hair colours. Most recently Herbal Essences rich auburn brown. I loved the colour when I did it but despite being permanent it faded out in less than a week and is now looking rather pink. However, this has been the longest lasting colour I have experienced.

I do not have enough money to get my hair dyed professionally every months so I was wondering if there are any home hair dyes that will make my hair the colour I want it and won't wash out.

Reds are the hardest to keep in and the hardest to get out. With that being said you will get longer lasting results if you go to a salon. I know its expensive but it is worth it. You should try using the john freida red shampoo and conditioner. It will help some.

for red hair to not fade is really dificult unless u have the right resources i would say a hair salon

but since u cant afford one try maybe using a gloss after u dye your hair, i think itll make the red last maybe a bit longer then ussuall
