No. They never completely come out. Once you dye your hair, it will never be the same exact color. However, it will be pretty close using the temp hair colors.

Red hair dye is the hardest to come out and will not ever completely come out. I have been doinghair for years. Trust me.

I am not saying don't do it...I say what the hell, go for it...but be prepared to keep dying afterwards!

Depends on your hair color and texture. Most of it will wash out and might leave a small residue after the 28 washings.

Yes, around there. I have died my hair alot, it all depends on color of your hair and how long you leave the dye in for, but it will go away after about a month.

Yes, but make sure it says that on the label. Try a Clairol rinse. Clairol also have a haircolor remover, if the brand you use doesn't wash out. You can find these products at any beauty supply store.

If your hair has already been colored it might just take a little longer and the brand of colorant is a big factor also some are much better than others Good Luck

28 shampoos sounds like a lot to me. I have blonde hair and was also wanting to try to dye it red (I just love red hair). Anyways I would not trust red hair color to wash out very easily. However I do get red really red highlights in my hair. I love it, why dont you try that instead. Make sure you get "chunky" highlights they are more noticable.

Depends on what color your hair is now. Blonde may take longer to wash out. Brunettes may wash out in 28 shampoos but i think it may still leave a tint of red. Honestly if I was you I would call or go up to a salon and ask someone there this very question, because they would be able to look at your hair and give you a better answer then any of us could. I think you will find that almost every colour will have a brand that washes out in 28washes etc. I no red does as my friend just got one.

i dont want you to say "dont ruin your hair itll look terrible!". im allready convinved. =] im going to do them out of a box, not professionally. i dont want to have to bleach my hair to do this. i dont want dark brown, i jus want pierc black. any experianc would be good=]

since you're doind a darker color, you don't have to do anything else. you only have to bleach if you're going lighter

I don't see why not. Black is a darker color than red. Naturally red hair tends to be orange-ish. You only have to bleach your hair if you're dying it a lighter color than it already is.

I've had experience. And i won't try to talk you out of it because black is a pretty kicking color for a while (especially with red) I would say Sallys, wella color for grey hair (powder mix) It costs like 4.00 and you can mix it with water. The black stays in (thank god it doesn't fade to grey) and it's just an excellent product. And yes, black covers everything (it even stained my bathroom) Best of luck! dyes it, but buy the hair dye that does deminsional shades instead of a flat color. actually, i just dyes my hair from red-blonde to auburn-red. so, good luck!

I think it would look nice on you .I ever saw a tv program about changing hair colours ,they said fair skins should be perfect to go with blonde,brown and red.I think it will look very nice maybe you should try it first if you are not interested anymore you can change it back to blonde.GOOD LUCK !!!!!!MY BEST SUGGESTION ^_^

My sis-in-law has red hair, and I've put some blonde pieces in her hair before. Nothing too drastic, just small pieces. It looked great!

You could also try some darker reddish-brunette pieces if you wanted to go darker.

Hello: About red hair they are all beautiful specially when you are natural . I'm 39 years old and i been coloring my hair red for over 10 years and girl reds get many compliments and are consider hot stuff any ways am not sure what's your length and what type of red tone you have black highlights might look very good on you or even another tone of reddish highlights, Good luck.

I foil her hair with heavy sections, alternating a darker, richer shade (Redken Shades EQ copper brown and dark auburn) with a lighter shade using high lift and deposit color (Redken Double Fusion Reds Cr- copper red). I suggest you stay in the same shade range using darker and lighter colors.
